Chief Minister's Camp Office also called as Begumpet Camp Office is the official residence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Greenlands circle, Begumpet.[1]

History

The camp office was built in 2004 after Congress party came into power. The first Chief Minister to move in was Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in 2005 and lived in it for five years.[2]

The building

CM Camp Office has both office and residence on the two-storied premises. The area is over 1-acre (4,000 m2), and has roads on both east and north directions. It was built as per Vaastu principles.

A television studio was built on the premises in 2007 at a cost of 1.15 crore. The facility was built on 2,500 square feet (230 m2) and has state of the art recording and online editing equipment.
